You can improve health outcomes of a community or region at 3 levels: at the system level, at the facility level and at the patient-level. Given the diversity, the model and the scale of its initiatives, CPHD has been able to touch many lives and at all levels.

It is inspiring to hear back from our benefiters, direct or indirect, from our partners and from the many supporters. As CPHD's founder Dr Bernard recalls, "I received an email from a nurse in Pumwani maternity hospital in Nairobi, saying how much the trainings had made a difference in the way he functioned and how many more lives he has been able to save. The mail was sent at 2 am."
